Decision Scientist (m/w/d)
At mymuesli, we are looking for an motivated Decision Scientist (m/f/d) who works in a data-driven way to help us answer strategic questions and uncover growth potential. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for data-related inquiries within our company, supporting teams such as Marketing, Product, Forecasting, and Controlling in making important decisions based on solid analysis. Your goal: to extract valuable, forward-looking insights from complex data that guide us toward sustainable success.
Your new Job
- Main point of contact for all data-related questions within the teams and stakeholders you support
- Independent analysis and investigation of specific issues—whether through ad hoc analyses, in-depth evaluations, dashboards, or automated recurring reports
- Close collaboration with Marketing teams and our Analytics Engineers as well as our developers in a highly cross functional company structure
- Identification and prioritization of strategic growth opportunities and critical business opportunities together with your team and key stakeholders
- Responsibility for the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of the teams you support, including selection, tracking, forecasting, and proactive escalation of notable trends
- Empowerment of your stakeholders to become data self-sufficient through targeted training and self-service dashboard tools (e.g., Metabase)
- Definition of requirements for A/B testing and analysis of test results for ongoing optimization of our processes
Who we're looking for
- Completed studies in mathematics, statistics, computer science, economics, or a comparable field
- High level of analytical and strategic thinking; deep understanding of statistical methods and their applications
- First experience with data and analytics, ideally as a Data Scientist, Data Analyst, or Business Analyst
- Solid knowledge of SQL, Git, and any BI tool, with a strong interest in a statistical programming language such as Python or R
- Experience and affinity in performance-oriented marketing
- Excellent communication skills in both German and English for conveying complex information
- Enthusiasm for answering strategic questions in a data-driven way and acting as an interface between data, departments, and executive management

- Work location: Choice of our offices in Berlin or Passau, with a 3-day office policy and the option to work two days per week from home
- Compensation: €48,300 - €56.000, depending on applicant profile
