To strengthen our leadership team, we are now looking for a Director Online Business & Marketing in Berlin (with regular travel to Passau). This position is reporting to the Co-CEO of mymuesli. As a member of the management team, you will work with other executives from Retail, Brand, Product, Operations, Supply Chain and Finance.
In this role you have strategic and operational responsibility for our biggest sales channel across different countries as well as all online marketing channels. You will expand our customer base and generate incremental revenue streams through additional channels, such as marketing partnerships as well as leveraging marketplaces. In this position, with P&L responsibility, you will lead around 50 employees and will play a major role to drive sustainable growth and economic success of mymuesli.
YOUR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES
You own the operational and strategic management as well as people development of our international and diverse online team, including marketing, creative, content, partnership and marketplaces teams.
You perform growth hacking of our D2C/eCommerce, partnership and marketplace businesses through data based and analytical decision making
You evolve mymueslis brand, product portfolio and channel strategy as well as pricing and promotion roadmaps together with other teams (e.g. Brand, Category Management, B2B, Finance)You lead the design, scaling and optimization of relevant (new) customer channels such as search, social, affiliate and paid channels, including partnerships and evolving CRM
You drive end-to-end the creation, management and evolution of the marketing funnel from upper funnel (e.g. Instagram) to lower funnel (e.g. Google Ads)
You evolve the country, performance marketing, content and creative teams to serve several brands, categories and countries in the most efficient way
You attract and retain talents and help the teams strive for constant improvement an enable their development
You are responsible for our multi-million advertising budgets and ensure efficient spending
You help drive the data, BI and tech roadmap to enable scaling
You ensure scalability and international roll out through automation and process optimization
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
At least 7-10 years experience in online/social marketing and leadership experience in the eCommerce/DTC space preferably for strong brands in FMCG or Retail in an international environment
Strategic growth oriented thinker based in analytical and creative thinking
Motivator, mentor and inspirational leader for the team
Strong communication skills and love for diverse teams across the organization
Experience in scaling a marketing organization while staying agile
Bias for action, hands on, can do attitude and independent but team oriented way of working
Preferably completed MBA or equivalent degree with focus on Marketing, e-commerce, etc.
Very good written and spoken German and English skills
